5S Methodology
INTRODUCTION OF 5S:
In modern days much emphasis is given on the elimination of waste in the organization. This waste could be visible and physical, but may also be hidden in the work practices that people apply. 5S is housekeeping method that seeks to eliminate wastes due to movement and the inconsistent placement of objects in the workplace. With 5S, the work place is in an ordered state, clean, everything has a place and everything is in its place. This leads to improved work and morale and better safety.Learning Objectives
Use a consistent work method to eliminate clutter, to have a proper place for everything and to ensure that the workplace stays clean and ordered.
